As a Managing Director of General Catalyst Partners, Jonathan invests in both new and existing technology businesses. Jonathan's areas of investment interest are consumer internet services and infrastructure.

Before joining General Catalyst Partners, Jonathan was a Principal at Benchmark Capital, where he originated the investments in Twitter, Eucalyptus Systems and Instagram. Prior to Benchmark he managed several engineering teams at Google and was an early member of its Strategy and Business Operations group focusing on international expansion of research and development.

Jonathan is a graduate of Stanford University, earning a MS and Sydney University where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering.
