As Technologist-in-Residence at General Catalyst Partners, Charles Teague focuses on identifying new investment opportunities for General Catalyst in the areas of software infrastructure, enterprise software applications and Internet technology.
Prior to joining General Catalyst, Charles was the co-founder of Onfolio, Inc. which was acquired by Microsoft in 2005. Most recently, Charles worked at Microsoft as a Principal Development Lead, overseeing the development and engineering of Windows Live Writer which was originally created at Onfolio. Prior to Onfolio, Charles was Director of Engineering at Macromedia, where he worked on the release of Cold Fusion MX. He joined Macromedia in 2001, when it merged with Allaire Corporation.
Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy from Macalester College.
