A global veteran of the energy sector for more than 20 years, Gregor Gnaedig joined Modular Wind Energy in 2012 as the company emerged from research and development into the serial production stage of it’s revolutionary divided rotor blades. Mr. Gnaedig joined the company from his previous post as Chief Operating Officer of REpower Systems SE, a Suzlon Group Company, recognized as one of the leading international manufacturers of onshore and offshore wind turbines.
During his tenure at REpower, Mr. Gnaedig was responsible for the entire supply chain management including the production of wind turbines in Europe and Asia, as well as the worldwide project management and installation.
Prior to joining Modular Wind Energy and REpower, Mr. Gnaedig had various executive positions at ABB and Alstom in the U.S., Switzerland, Germany and the U.K. in the conventional power generation business.
Mr. Gnaedig began his career in 1987 as an engineer in the United States after graduating in mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany).
